The Sacramento Kings were in Brooklyn on Wednesday night to take on the Nets on the second night of a back to back on their east coast road trip. The Kings blitzed the Nets early, scoring 36 points in the first quarter and never looking back. Despite the win, the Kings appear destined for the draft lottery yet again. The thing about being in the draft lottery is your team has a lot of young talent, and if developed properly your team could be a contender in the future. A bright spot for the Kings is rookie Justin Jackson. The former TarHeel forward is adjusting to life in the NBA and sees what his comp can be.
Following the game Jackson talked about the importance of learning from the veterans on his team, who he sees as someone to pattern his game after, and predictions for his UNC TarHeels.

Being a long time Sacramento Kings fan is hard. It has been a long time since we have made the playoffs. I think that year after year, we have been disappointing. We fail to cultivate talent, aside from Demarcus Cousins, which now is part of the Golden State Warriors. However, I have gained my faith and hope once they have drafted Justin Jackson. I think that Justin Jackson is this year's draft sleeper pick. I think that it was a great steal from us
